A technological Solutions brand, Global Infocom is providing 62 smart classrooms and four virtual classroom solutions in government colleges of the state. Presently in four government colleges of the state the smart classrooms are available-Sanquelim, Quepem, Khandola and Borda. The launch of these classrooms was done by the Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant.
These smart classrooms will have the technology of connecting the four universities virtually for resource sharing and it promises to provide top class learning as well. In a classroom of this sort students will get to communicate, to discuss, watch presentations, videos, share files and assess in real time via live streaming on an online platform Learning Management System (LMS) software. The sole motto of this initiative is to put forth a modern pedagogy for the holistic experience of education and improve the quality of teaching.
Kiran Dham, chief executive officer, Globus Infocom reportedly said that they are delighted to be a part of an initiative taken by Directorate of Higher Education and that they are overwhelmed to be chosen by the Goa government for provide their advanced technology driven smart classroom solution to the students.
Their solutions have been successfully installed in major cities like Delhi, Mysore, Lucknow, Dehradun, Bikaner, Varanasi, Haryana to name a few. Their vision is to provide smart solutions these smart solutions to every institute in the country which works around education.
