Infogain partners with Deepalaya for ‘Ready to School” Initiative

–          Opens an Early Childcare Centre in Noida

–          Centre to work towards collectively strengthening early childhood education and make it more accessible to all families.

With a lead on innovating CSR activities, Infogain joins hands with Deepalaya to inaugurate a new early childcare centre, “Ready for School” in Noida. The event was organised in the presence of Ms. Cathy Chandhok, Head of Marketing Infogain, Mr. A J Philip, Secretary & Chief Executive of Deepalaya, Rajiv Naithani, HR head – India, Infogain among others. The centre has already enrolled 58 children till now and aims to provide early childhood care and support to the neighbourhood families.


This association aims at providing customized developmental programs backed by scientific research and based on an interdisciplinary approach for children with varying developmental, psychological, behavioural and academic concerns. This initiative also enables employees from different business units to come together and participate in competitions, celebrations and outreach events.

Ms. Cathy Chandhok, Head of Marketing at Infogain expressed her gratitude on being a part of the initiative, “We all must recognize the importance of the social and educational development of our children. The centre will provide young minds with an opportunity to learn in an amicable environment resulting in academic growth to stimulate intellectual growth and all-round developmentProper care and training at the centre will help the children grow and achieve a level of competitiveness and face the world. We are extremely pleased to associate with Deepalaya in order to be take forward this project.”

Attendees from Deepalaya included Mr. Jaswant Kaur, Executive Director and Mr. A J Philip, Secretary & Chief Executive of Deepalaya. Mr. Philip said, “This association will give us an opportunity to help 120 children to get early childhood education and thereby ensuring a better future for them. We are pleased to see our efforts gathering momentum in the direction of providing basic education to all.”

Deepalaya is a non – government organisation that believes in enabling self-reliance and is committed to working on issues affecting the urban and rural poor, with a special focus on women and children. The NGO was started on July 16th, 1979 by seven founding members, and for more than three decades, has been contributing to the crusade against illiteracy. Over the years, Deepalaya has established several projects in the areas of Education (Formal/Non-Formal/Remedial), Women Empowerment (reproductive health, SHG, Micro-finance), Institutional care, Community Health, Vocational Training and Differently-Abled. These projects are operational in Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
