MAIT gives IT in education a vision through Eduvision 2015

MAIT, an apex body representing ICT Industry in India launchedEduVision 2015,an only national event to promote digital education. In a bid to improve the education delivery system in the country with the use of IT at all level.mait

EduVision aims at bringing together device manufacturers, content providers, solution providers connectivity providers and also Government and educational institutions on a single platform so that they can deliberate and contribute towards the development of better education delivery system in India with the use of Information Technology.

Mr. Amar Babu,President, MAITin his presidential address said “MAIT is about manufacturing IT Products and usage of IT benefitting areas are education and Healthcare. I believe IT can make a huge impact both in terms of providing access with sheer kind of technologyand the ability to integrate curriculum in a more standard way across the country.It’s a necessity for a country of our size to get integrated Education and employmentin a very strongway”.

Mr. Anwar Shirpurwala, Executive Director,MAIT said, “MAIT is pleased to launch the report,’Developing Employability through IT Powered Education in 21st century’ that is a part of the bigger initiative ‘EduVision’. It is technology that leverages IT in the education system so that it can transform the life of millions of students who currently struggle to get quality education and employment due to lack of industry ready skills and Knowledge.”

Further in the event, the panel discussion involved the challenges for building teaching capacity aK12 content, building digital India by expanding reach of education through technology and Use of technology in skill development. It also discussed about the implementing the core points discussed in this conference to make EduVision a success.
