MHRD (Union Ministry of Human Resource Development ) gave a node on setting up the first IIT in the state of Maharashtra at Nagpur .Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis tweeted on Wednesday afternoon that the state had received an approval letter from HRD ministry. This paves the way for starting the IIIT campus in city as early as the 2015-16 academic session
